Recertification

If your certification has lapsed, you are required to apply for re-certification in accordance with the current AHSCP Recertification Process at the time of application.

Recertification Sub-specialisations 

Recertification Sub-specialisations are assessed once an applicant has been re-certified as a CPHS1.

If you had been awarded certification in a sub-specialisations during your initial CPHS1 certification, the Panel first must find in favour of your CPHS1 re-certification and will then assess your additional evidence relating to the sub-specialisation.

Required Documentation

1. Cover letter
2. Application form for recertification in Hydrographic Surveying
3. Evidence of previous certification (Certification certificate or Panel certification letter)
4. Record of compliant Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities for the past 12 months
5. Signed logbook of practical hydrographic surveying experience for the past 12 months
Is it more than 4 years since my certification lapsed?
If YES, also required
A Referees Report
Minimum of one Referees Report

LEVEL 1 APPLICANTS ONLY
1. At least one Hydrographic Survey Report conducted in the past 24 months
2. Hydrographic Survey Plan/s (fair sheet / smooth sheet / drawings) for the above Hydrographic Survey Report
Panel decision: Are requirements met for recertification?
If NO
Panel requests further information
Recertification decision
Applicant notified
If NO after review
Recertification not valid.
