Adam and Jake will provide an update on the Westport Program and insights into Westport’s approach to avoiding impacts & building ecosystem resilience prior to construction. The presentation will introduce the Westport Ecosystem Model (WEM) which will be used to understand how the natural systems and processes in Cockburn Sound are likely to respond to the pressures caused by the construction and operation of the Westport Container Terminal.

Accurate hydrographic survey data is fundamental to the successful planning, execution, and commercial management of dredging projects. From the initial baseline survey through to progress monitoring and final acceptance surveys, survey data provides the “eyes and ears” of the dredging engineer. In this presentation, Simon will discuss the importance of hydrographic survey data from both a technical and commercial dredging perspective.
